The YMCA of Western Stark County embraces people of all ages, incomes, abilities, religions, lifestyles, and ethnic backgrounds - we're here for everyone! Without the support of people like you, it would be much harder, almost impossible, to serve the needs of our diverse community in Massillon, Navarre, and the surrounding areas. What's great about your tax deductable donation is that it stays right here in our community to provide memberships, programs, and services to those who need it the most.
Strong Kids Campaign
The YMCA exists to fill a community need. While heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., the YMCA is providing a safe, friendly, and community oriented environment for people to exercise and stay healthy. While many families and single parents are struggling to make ends meet, the YMCA is providing a quality child care program to enrich the lives of children. While many seniors are coping with new and changing stresses in their lives, the YMCA is inviting them in for friendship and exercise. These are the needs of an entire community, not just those who can afford to have them met.
In 2009, the YMCA of Western Stark County served 7,892 members and 943 program participants from a diverse range of backgrounds. The YMCA of Western Stark County provided 1327 people with financial assistance totaling more than $85,500.00 in 2009.
In its 90 year history, the YMCA of Western Stark County has never turned anyone away because they could not afford to participate and with your generous contribution, we will continue to serve an entire community for many years to come.
A $25 donation can provide one month of gymnastics or swimming lessons for a child.
A $50 donation can provide an entire season of youth sports for a child.
A $75 donation can provide a week of before and after school care for a child.
A $110 donation can provide a week of summer day camp for a child.
A $250 donation can provide a 1-year membership for a teenager.
A $500 donation can provide a 1-year membership for a family.
A $1000 donation can help ensure that the YMCA will continue to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.

Building a Walkway of Memories
You can be a part of the Towpath Trail YMCA's first years and be remembered for your contribution for many more years to come. Purchase a brick at the entrance walkway engraved with a special message. You may want to consider a brick in honor or memory of a loved one, a brick for your family, or even one for each of your children or grandchildren. You may prefer an inspirational message, your company name, or a brick to commemorate a special event or accomplishment. Maybe you just want to leave your own mark on the history of the Towpath Trail YMCA. Your contribution of $100 for each brick will be added to the Towpath Trail YMCA Capital Campaign. You may also receive a duplicate brick for only $25.

Memorial Contributions
Over time, many people have come to know the YMCA as a second home and have developed some of their best friends and fondest memories sometime throughout our 90 years in Western Stark County. A memorial contribution, small or large, to the YMCA helps us to pass those same, wonderful experiences on to a new generation. Leaving a Legacy
We have been blessed at the YMCA of Western Stark County by members, our family, who have remembered the YMCA in their will. In doing so, they have passed on their legacy ensuring continuing services to our community. The YMCA builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities because our community cares enough to give back in order that our mission continues well into the future.
